Ho Chi Minh City students get 3 consecutive days off for Hung Kings' death anniversary

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued Document No. 1519 on hanging the national flag and taking a day off for the Hung Kings' death anniversary in 2025.

Accordingly, officials, civil servants, public employees, workers and students of educational institutions in the city will have 3 consecutive days off for the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day from Saturday (April 5) to Monday (April 7 - the 10th day of the third lunar month).

For educational institutions that do not have a fixed weekly Saturday off schedule, they must arrange a suitable, legal holiday schedule based on the specific program and plan of the unit.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requires educational institutions to fly the national flag on April 7.

Depending on conditions, each unit arranges time to organize a variety of activities to review the traditions and history of the Hung King era; educate students about the origins of the nation, expressing pride and gratitude for the Hung Kings' contributions in the process of building and defending the country.

The Department of Education and Training also noted that the organization should be lively, solemn, and practical, avoiding ostentation and waste, creating a joyful, colorful, attractive, and safe atmosphere at the unit. Implementation period is from March 31 to April 4.
