On the morning of August 20, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said at the conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year, deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 school year of the education and training sector and launch emulation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Accordingly, it is expected that schools located on the parade route, or in nearby inner-city areas, where there are many people, many motor vehicles, and specialized vehicles passing by, will give students a day off for 3 days: August 21, 24, and 27.
In addition, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has also directed schools in the inner city, especially those on the parade route, to open their doors to provide free restrooms and rest areas for everyone and visitors during the event.
According to the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, on the morning of August 20, the Department reported to the leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee and was approved to allow some schools in the inner city to temporarily close to ensure traffic conditions, help the parade, march as well as traffic management to be smooth and safe.
Other schools in the suburbs can join in the school gathering activities to witness this great national event together.
The list of schools, areas and specific instructions will be announced by the Department of Education and Training today, applicable to both public and private schools.
