According to the report of the Ministry of Education and Training sent to the National Assembly Standing Committee's Supervisory Delegation explaining a number of issues that need attention through the supervision of the implementation of innovation in general education programs and textbooks, it is expected that at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, the graduation exam plan from 2025 will be issued.

Accordingly, the proposed method is to organize the same exam questions and sessions for both compulsory and elective subjects on a large scale; at the same time, students are allowed to decide for themselves which subjects to take the graduation exam among the elective subjects in high school. This plan basically meets the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program, in line with the way students choose their elective subjects.
