The force that took action to remove illegal advertising products included about 150 people, including: Hoc Mon District People's Committee; officers and soldiers of Hoc Mon District Police; Ho Chi Minh City Police; military forces, civil servants, public employees, political and social organizations; people of Hoc Mon Town, 11 communes of Hoc Mon District.
According to Mr. Duong Hong Thang, Chairman of Hoc Mon District People's Committee, the situation of pasting, drawing, and hanging all kinds of advertisements in public places on some roads and residential areas still exists and has not been completely handled. This situation causes loss of aesthetics, affecting civilized lifestyle and urban culture.

"To continue to maintain the achieved results and further strengthen the implementation of removing illegal advertising products, the district requires continuing to resolutely and effectively propagate and mobilize people to participate, contributing to ensuring social order and safety, beautifying urban areas and coordinating the prevention and combat of crimes and violations of the law related to illegal credit activities in the district," said Mr. Duong Hong Thang.
Lieutenant Colonel Vo Van Liem, Deputy Chief of Hoc Mon District Police, and Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Youth Union - Captain Vo Thi Bich Phuong participated in removing illegal advertisements.
Fire police force of Ho Chi Minh City Police also participated in removing advertisements on electric poles.
Mr. Duong Hong Thang also directed communes and towns in the area to organize and mobilize people to continue to remove illegal advertising products with the motto "15 minutes for a civilized - clean - safe neighborhood and hamlet" on a weekly basis. At the same time, assign specific management responsibilities to agencies and units for the cleaned areas, not allowing subjects to repeat the act of posting and drawing illegal advertisements.
