Hoang Quyen was the runner-up of Vietnam Idol 2012. In addition to singing, the female singer also composed many songs. She said that her family did not have an artistic tradition but raised her in music.

Hoang Quyen is currently a single mother of a daughter. She is happy to see her daughter grow up every day.

"Now my daughter is like a close friend, whispering and going everywhere with me. I am lucky to always have my parents' support so I can freely pursue and share my dreams. I also want to give that to my child, to be by her side, support her and help her fly," she confided.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Hoang Quyen said that when she is sad, she often composes songs and feels more mature from that sadness. "I don't see myself changing much compared to when I was young. Every day when I wake up, I see things more realistically, relax and enjoy life better," she confided.

Recently, Hoang Quyen released a new composition called Trip in Thought . These are experiences from many trips expressed by the female singer in a specific and richly visual way.

In the new product, Hoang Quyen plays the role of a storyteller with a deep, elegant voice. With this work, she seems to stand outside the hasty, hurried trend of young people.

The female singer said that she is also completing the album Quyen Gallery No.2, which includes 8 self-composed songs, and is eager to enter the upcoming period of self-production, mixing, recording, and sound post-production.

In particular, to pave the way for this album, she will release an English version called The Journey . Hoang Quyen shared that the self-composed album will be released at the end of this year, recorded and completed by her in Europe with international collaborators.

Sharing about her new product and her second self-composed and produced album, Hoang Quyen confided that at the age of 30, she wanted to write about the gentle thoughts of life. "The days passed quietly, I was also quiet. I gradually understood more about nature, the reasons... I sang and wrote more. Those are simple and free songs like my thoughts", she confided.

When asked if she wanted to be called singer or musician Hoang Quyen by the audience, the female singer said: "To me, Hoang Quyen is complete."

Before the news that, although she is a quiet singer but has a lot of shows and a very high salary, the female singer said: "People often praise me too much, and after a while, the praise becomes real" (laughs).
