The parade and commemorative march in Ho Chi Minh City on April 30 is a national event, jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City will take the lead in implementing and coordinating with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant units to carry out specific activities.
According to the announcement of the authorities, to serve the parade rehearsal, Ho Chi Minh City has banned people and vehicles from circulating and parking in the city center. The ban starts from 3-12 o'clock on April 27.
The road closure area includes many important routes such as Ba Son Bridge (from Thu Duc City to District 1), Nguyen Binh Khiem Street (from Nguyen Dinh Chieu to Nguyen Huu Canh), Dinh Tien Hoang Street (from Nguyen Dinh Chieu to Le Duan), Ton Duc Thang Street (from Le Duan to the U-turn point in front of 37 Ton Duc Thang), Mac Dinh Chi Street (from Tran Cao Van to Nguyen Du), Hai Ba Trung Street (from Vo Van Tan to Ly Tu Trong), and other roads such as Pham Ngoc Thach, Pasteur, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Truong Dinh, Nguyen Du, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and internal roads around the Reunification Hall area.
Authorities advise people not to travel on roads within the restricted area during the road closure period. Only individuals and units with special tasks or permits issued by competent authorities are allowed to travel in this area.
At the same time, people need to bring identification documents and contact local police for support if they need to travel or need to enter restricted areas.
Previously, in Ho Chi Minh City, since mid-April, the marching and marching forces have organized many joint training sessions at their units to practice their formations and movements. Then, on April 18 and April 22, joint training sessions were deployed, and most recently, the state-level preliminary rehearsal on April 25 on Le Duan Street .

The block of male police officers represents the law enforcement force, maintaining security and order nationwide. The officers wear traditional moss green uniforms, red-rimmed kepi caps with the national emblem, white gloves, yellow sash and brown leather belts.

56 blocks of parade
It is expected that the forces participating in the parade will be divided into two groups: standing and walking.
Of which, the outgoing block has a total of 56, including ceremonial vehicles and parade blocks.
Specifically, the military bloc opened with a car modelling the National Emblem, followed by the Party flag and national flag bloc, a car carrying a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, a car symbolising 50 years of national reunification, a command vehicle and a group of military flags.
Next was the female military band leading the way, followed by the officer group representing the five military wings (including Army Corps 1 - Quyet Thang Army Corps, Army Corps 2 - Huong Giang Army Corps, Army Corps 3 - Tay Nguyen Army Corps, Army Corps 4 - Cuu Long Army Corps and Group 232), the liberation army soldiers, the officer groups of the following military branches: army, navy, air defense - air force, border guards, coast guard, logistics - engineering, female information officers and female military medical officers.
Continuing the parade of the military bloc were the electronic warfare soldiers, cyber warfare forces, female UN peacekeeping officers, army soldiers, armored soldiers, special forces soldiers, female commandos, and paratroopers.
After the parade of the Vietnamese army, international formations entered including: the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Army.

Next is the militia force with the following formations: male maritime militia, female southern guerrillas and female northern militia.
The People's Public Security force started with the command vehicle and the police team, followed by the following forces: male people's security officers, male people's police officers, female traffic police officers, male people's air force officers, male Ho Chi Minh City police officers, and male fire prevention and fighting police officers.
Next is the UN peacekeeping police officer block, male mobile police officers, female special police officers, male mobile police reserve combat officers, male forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, mobile police cavalry, and ending with the red flag block (army).
The parade was organized by Ho Chi Minh City, with 12 groups representing different classes of people, including: groups honoring the Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and typical historical witnesses, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, veterans, former youth volunteers, workers, farmers, intellectuals, businessmen, overseas Vietnamese, women, children and youth, and finally the cultural and sports groups.
In addition to the parade, the program also has symbolic highlights. Notably, the 21-gun salute ceremony to the National Anthem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The air force will participate in the demonstration with 13 flag-raising helicopters, 9 Yak-130 aircraft and 7 Su-30MK2 aircraft flying in welcome over the sky of Ho Chi Minh City.
