The solemn occasion of the 80th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) has created a bustling, exciting atmosphere, strongly arousing the love for the homeland and country in every Vietnamese citizen.

1. The most beautiful images, clearly showing the national pride of the Vietnamese people in the past few days, are the impressive and heroic moments in two comprehensive training events (August 21 and 24) taking place magnificently at the historic Ba Dinh Square of the forces participating in the parade and marching in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 (mission A80).

For everyone, whether in the highlands or lowlands, border areas or urban areas, remote islands and our many overseas Vietnamese, National Day has a special and sacred meaning. Emotions are even more intense when witnessing the changes of the country, the strength of the nation is shown in each proud and heroic step of the Vietnamese people today, following in the footsteps of their ancestors to protect the independence, freedom and happiness that was won 8 decades ago.

80 years of military-civilian love like fish and water. The proud steps of the forces in the heart of the capital have moved millions of hearts that love the Fatherland. Tens of thousands of people on the streets witnessed and cheered, giving them more strength to "overcome the sun and rain" to complete the glorious mission assigned by the Party, State and people.

Following in their fathers' footsteps, they walked in the arms of the people, in the hearts of the heroic Vietnamese nation.

The capital Hanoi in the historical process of the nation always carries within itself a great role and mission.

80 years ago, on September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh solemnly read the Declaration of Independence at the historic Ba Dinh Square, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam). Now, the people of the capital are even more proud when, right on that land of a thousand years of civilization, our entire Party, people and army celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country, affirming the milestone from the era of national independence to the era of strong, prosperous development of the country.

In the jubilant atmosphere of the national festival, in the minds of the people of the capital, everyone is very moved and burning with national pride. Therefore, there is nothing more proud and sacred than when, in the middle of the historic autumn sky, the people of Hanoi welcome the heroic army and compatriots from all over the country back to the capital.

How warm it is because in the heroic scene of the parades and marches, there are images of people in the capital carrying fans and offering drinks to people on the street. Many homeowners and shop owners clean up the space, invite strangers to rest, and let them stay for free while waiting to watch the parades and marches... Then there are images of some people taking the opportunity to support the garbage collection to help environmental sanitation workers have less trouble...

2. During the two training sessions of the forces performing the A80 mission, on every street and road of the capital, the bustling and exciting atmosphere was clearly visible on everyone's face. Everyone was eager and wanted to share on social networks the most beautiful and meaningful frames to spread the heroic atmosphere of the nation.

Tens of thousands of people wearing red shirts with yellow stars, holding national flags, were ready to wait for several hours regardless of the sun or rain... Everyone was serious, following the instructions of the authorities to watch the parade. Amidst the exciting, suspenseful atmosphere of the parade rehearsals, there were beautiful moments, humane, simple stories that touched many people, and were spread strongly on the Internet.

In many places, people sang together songs like: "Joining Hands in a Big Circle", "As if Uncle Ho were here on the great victory day", "Marching Song"... while waiting for the parade.

It was a rare reunion between soldiers participating in the parade and their relatives that became more sacred than ever...

They were foreign tourists holding red flags with yellow stars, joining the Vietnamese people in celebrating the great holiday...

The bustling atmosphere, the resounding singing, the thunderous applause erased the distance, everyone seemed closer together.

In the minds of those present witnessing the heroic army marching on the streets of the Capital imbued with national history, there is a common thought and sentiment for the homeland, the country and national pride. They wish to be present to witness the historical moment that most clearly reflects the development and growth of the country and to feel more deeply the sacrifices and contributions of many generations of fathers and brothers, thereby knowing how to appreciate the value of peace today.

3. Not only do the people of the Capital show elegance, humanity and deep affection for the people of the whole country in every little thing; the Party Committee and the Government of the Capital are also working with relevant agencies and units to prepare the best conditions for this great event of the nation.

Along with the decoration and celebration work to ensure solemnity, dignity, security and safety, the city pays special attention to serving the people of the whole country to attend and watch the parade on National Day.

To date, the city has prepared 60,000 items, from hats, paper fans to hand-held flags, and provided hundreds of thousands of snacks for residents and delegates. One million bottles of water and 800,000 cakes have also been gathered to serve the forces and residents. Medical work has been meticulously prepared with 370 officers and 37 ambulances on duty at the event locations.

The city has also recruited 8,800 volunteers to provide logistical support and guidance for the event. The city is installing tents to serve the people, with special attention to resting places for veterans, people with revolutionary contributions, the elderly, women, children, and people with disabilities.

The capital of a thousand years of culture and heroism has always been worthy of being the heart of the whole country. From the rain of bombs and bullets to the period of independence and freedom, Hanoi has always been with the whole country, for the whole country. That spirit will continue to spread strongly, flowing forever in the subconscious and blood vessels of the people of the capital.

The Party Committee, government and people of the capital city identify the A80 mission as an important event of the country. Hanoi is honored and proud to contribute to the organization and service to make the event a success.

Thoroughly grasping this spirit, Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi Bui Thi Minh Hoai emphasized: “The Central Government trusts and the whole country looks to the Capital, so we not only work with the highest responsibility, but also must do it with all our heart and affection for the Capital and the country. This is the time for all levels and sectors from the city down to the grassroots level and each citizen of the Capital to demonstrate their elegance, civilization, and humanity, affirming the glory of the Ho Chi Minh era and the superiority of socialism to the people of the whole country and international visitors.”

We are living in the midst of important historical events of the nation. Along with the efforts of the authorities to organize a truly meaningful and successful celebration, every citizen of the capital as well as the whole country needs to express their love for their homeland, country and national pride through beautiful and humane actions in their own homes and public areas.

Along with maintaining and creating a good image for oneself, no matter what the circumstances, everyone needs to wholeheartedly help and give way to each other, not jostle, push, argue, fight for seats... in public places. In particular, everyone needs to be aware, demonstrate civilized actions, not litter the environment and protect trees and public works.

We must be aware that ugly and unsightly images in public places will affect individuals first and foremost, and the community more broadly. Being civilized, elegant, living with love and always knowing how to share and help each other is the deepest way to express patriotism and love for our fellow countrymen.

Only when every action comes from awareness and love for the homeland and country, can we together paint the most beautiful picture for the national festival.
