Today (June 27), a representative of the People's Committee of Ha Lam ward confirmed that there had just been a suspected lightning strike in the area that killed 2 people.

Accordingly, at about 3:15 a.m. the same day, receiving a report from residents that a fire had broken out at group 4, zone 2, Ha Lam ward, the authorities immediately arrived at the scene.

There, the authorities and local residents broke down the door to put out the fire and discovered two burned bodies on the first floor. On the second floor of the house, three children were still safe.

The victims were identified as Mr. DVĐ (born in 1975) and Ms. VDP (born in 1987, both residing in group 4, zone 2, Ha Lam ward).

Also according to the representative of the People's Committee of Ha Lam ward, last night and early this morning, there was heavy rain with many thunders in the area.

Before the fire broke out, people heard a loud thunderclap in the area of ​​the house mentioned above, the initial cause was suspected to be a lightning strike.
