Hai Duong decided to build a road connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh Bridge (Kinh Mon)

According to the resolution, the traffic route connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh Bridge is 3.1 km long, with a total investment of VND 248 billion from the provincial budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period.

The route starts at the intersection with National Highway 17B (km11+700) in Long Xuyen Ward (Kinh Mon). The end point connects with Dinh Bridge approach road in Thai Thinh Ward (Kinh Mon).

The scale includes the construction of the main road (core road) according to the main street level, the roadbed width is 16m including 15m of road surface, the remaining is earthen shoulder, design speed is 50km/h. The project synchronously constructs items of intersections, drainage, signaling system, lighting and other related infrastructure. Implement the installation of road boundary markers according to regulations.

The project is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board. The project implementation period is in 2024-2025.

The investment in the construction of the traffic route connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh Bridge aims to gradually complete the regional traffic system according to the planning; solve traffic congestion and insecurity, reduce traffic pressure on inner-city routes connecting with Dinh Bridge. At the same time, expand the urban development space of Kinh Mon town, promote socio-economic development of Kinh Mon town and Hai Duong province.
