Hanoi directs the use of logo samples in propaganda activities on the occasion of National Day September 2

The document stated that the City People's Committee received Official Dispatch No. 3242/BVHTTDLMTNATL dated July 4, 2025 from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the use of the logo to promote the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Regarding this, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over and coordinate with the city's departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; People's Committees of wards and communes, based on the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the above document, to guide relevant units and use the logo to carry out propaganda throughout the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Previously, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approved the logo for official use in propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The logo design uses the main image of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945 at the historic Ba Dinh Square, using graphic language describing blocks and strong contrasting light, expressing the sacred atmosphere, profound meaning and joy of all the people on the first independence day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The red logo represents the patriotic tradition of the Vietnamese people through thousands of years of building and defending the country. Red is also the sacred flag color, the color of heroic fighting spirit, the color of the will and aspiration for independence and freedom.

The logo contains the dates August 19 and September 2, 1945-2025, two important milestones highlighting the significance of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, a series of important historical events of the country, designed in a balanced layout with the combination of the image of the microphone on Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, where Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, forming a solid unified block of the logo, showing the longevity of the country over the past 80 years and forever.

Uncle Ho's voice still echoes: "Vietnam has the right to enjoy freedom and independence, and in fact has become a free and independent country. The entire Vietnamese people are determined to devote all their spirit and strength, their lives and property to maintain that freedom and independence."

The logo background is a red flag with a yellow star fluttering, the number 80 is animated, representing the meaning of 80 years of the country, a journey full of turmoil and glory, exactly 80 years since the birth of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, known to the world with its brilliant historical milestones, pride, development, and steady steps into a new era - the era of Vietnam's rise.

The number 80 in warm orange represents the strong solidarity of all Vietnamese people, a steadfast belief in following the Party, expressing the loyal comradeship and compatriots and the pure spirit of international solidarity, which is the "soft power" factor that makes Vietnam a symbolic country of peace and friendliness.
