The forum aims to introduce and promote the image of Ha Giang land and people with majestic natural wonders, unique customs and practices, and typical cultural products of indigenous peoples, thereby attracting the attention of domestic and international tourists.

This is also an opportunity to expand cooperation between Ha Giang province and other localities in the country and internationally, aiming to build Ha Giang into an attractive and sustainable tourist destination. At the same time, it will enhance the effectiveness of coordination between state management agencies and tourism businesses, media agencies, organizations and individuals inside and outside the province operating in the field of tourism and services, and resolve difficulties and obstacles in the province's tourism development.

At the Forum, experts, business representatives, and international organizations shared experiences and proposed solutions to help Ha Giang province promote its tourism strengths, while preserving culture and developing sustainable communities. The presentations and discussions focused on specific issues such as products, promotion, cinema, television, etc.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, affirmed that Ha Giang is a land of special values, not only honored by the World Tourism Organization as Asia's Leading Cultural Destination, but also gradually affirming its position as a destination of national and regional stature.

"Over the past years, the province's departments and branches have made tireless efforts to promote the natural beauty, culture and people to international friends. I hope that in the coming time, those working in Ha Giang tourism need to continue to innovate and invest in experiences so that tourists not only come but also want to stay longer, spend more and look forward to coming back" - Mr. Ha Van Sieu expressed.

Speaking at the forum, Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Ha Giang province is determined to build and develop tourism into a key economic sector, contributing to improving people's lives, creating jobs and developing sustainable socio-economic development. In the coming time, Ha Giang province will continue to synchronously deploy solutions to develop tourism more strongly on 5 factors: Strengthening transport infrastructure connectivity and attracting investment in tourism; Developing sustainable tourism products; Managing destinations and protecting the environment; Improving the quality of human resources; Strengthening tourism promotion and advertising.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and the Vietnam Tourism Association continue to pay attention to and support Ha Giang province in orienting tourism strategy development, promoting the image of Ha Giang tourism and connecting travel businesses to Ha Giang.

In addition, international agencies, organizations and businesses continue to accompany and support Ha Giang in promoting tourism, sharing experiences in management, developing tourism products and attracting investment, continuing to spread beautiful images of Ha Giang to the public at home and abroad, helping tourists better understand the beauty, richness and cultural values ​​of Ha Giang.
