Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.

Accordingly, the conference heard the representative of the leader of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province present the Report asking for opinions on the Draft (first time) Political Report to be submitted to the 15th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2024 - 2029.

Based on the Central's guidance and from the practice of Nghe An province, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee plans to have the theme of the political report as: "Continue to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity; strengthen social consensus, strongly arouse patriotism, creativity and aspiration for dedication, determined to build Nghe An province to develop rapidly and sustainably, imbued with the cultural identity of Nghe An".

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee plans the Congress theme to be: "Solidarity - Democracy - Aspiration - Innovation - Development".
The congress is expected to take place over 2.5 days, from July 24 to 26, 2024. The conference also sought opinions on the Draft Personnel Plan for the Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, term XV, 2024-2029; Some propaganda contents such as: Logo to identify the congress, Avarta; reportage on the term mark of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province. Video images of member organizations, districts; interviews at the grassroots level; visual propaganda, banners, slogans...

The conference heard the representative of the leadership of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province inform that as of early March 2024, 256/460 communes in Nghe An province had completed the congress work for the 2024-2029 term.

At the conference, there were 16 opinions exchanged by delegates who discussed, analyzed, and contributed to the draft report on the following contents: The title of the report should be presented in a general, concise, clear, easy-to-understand manner, calling for action, expressing determination; adding some contents to the action program of the Front.
The report needs to have balance and harmony between items and sections; needs to closely follow the practical situation of the locality to determine appropriate directions, goals, tasks, and practical solutions; for each task, specific targets must be given.
Some delegates also wanted to add more content about the Front's foreign affairs work, clearly distinguish between supervision and criticism, and add indicators on the number of propaganda articles about the Front's work...

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the preparation and discussion of the contents of the documents of the 15th Congress of the Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, term 2024 - 2029; the responsible and intelligent comments of the delegates. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the draft political report needs a more appropriate time structure, and it is necessary to review data related to reality to include in the draft report. He noted that the theme of the congress needs to be studied to choose more appropriate phrases.

It is necessary to identify that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress is not only an important political event of the Front system but also an important political event of all classes of people. On that basis, it is necessary to develop a concise, specific, focused report, close to the requirements of the Front's tasks, and develop a specific propaganda plan. At the same time, the Fatherland Front needs to develop a more specific propaganda plan. The draft report needs to supplement the targets and tasks and solutions for the next term.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the Editorial Board and the document drafting board should absorb the comments of the delegates at this conference to build a better quality draft political report for the congress, clearly demonstrating the role and position of the Fatherland Front in the socio-economic development of the locality.
