According to the letter, in the early morning of June 11, a group of suspects used weapons to attack the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, causing the deaths and injuries of 8 commune officials and commune police; and taking the lives of 3 local residents, leaving behind immense pain and loss. This is a barbaric, inhumane crime that is highly condemnable and needs to be fought and strictly handled by the law.

"On behalf of the Party Committee and the provincial police leadership, I call on all officers and soldiers to turn grief into revolutionary action. Continue to synchronously and resolutely deploy measures to fight and arrest those who caused the above incident to strictly handle them according to regulations, quickly stabilize the situation and ideology among the masses," excerpt from the letter of the Dak Lak Provincial Police Director.

In the letter, Major General Le Vinh Quy requested that provincial police officers and soldiers regularly care for, encourage and help the families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives to help ease the pain of those left behind; care for and encourage wounded soldiers who are undergoing treatment to quickly stabilize their health and spirit.
