To relieve passengers, airlines increase many flights after storm Tra Mi

On October 28, airlines will increase flights on Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang routes to relieve passengers affected by the storm. Passengers traveling to and from Dong Hoi, Phu Bai, Da Nang and Chu Lai airports should proactively monitor flight schedules as times may change.

On the morning of October 28, Vietnam Airlines announced that today the airline will increase 6 flights to support passengers affected by storm Tra Mi.

The afternoon before, after the storm, the airline immediately flew 6 more flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang . According to the airline's statistics, nearly 90 international and domestic flights were canceled due to the storm.

Vietjet and Bamboo Airways also announced that they will increase flights and be flexible in operating hours to accommodate passengers due to flight delays and cancellations yesterday.

According to airlines, bad weather is a force majeure situation, causing high costs for airlines, fuel costs, etc. Airlines hope to receive sympathy from passengers.

The airline recommends that passengers planning to travel to Dong Hoi, Phu Bai, Da Nang and Chu Lai airports during this time should regularly monitor and update weather conditions and airline information to proactively plan their travel schedules.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has decided to resume normal operations of incoming and outgoing aircraft at four airports in the Central region.

Specifically, Da Nang and Phu Bai airports will resume operations from 4 p.m. on October 27. Chu Lai airport will resume operations from 1 p.m. the same day, while Dong Hoi airport will resume operations later, from 5 p.m.
