Gold prices fluctuate inconsistently, central rate increases by 25 VND

Gold prices are stable, gold rings increased by 200,000 VND, central exchange rate increased by 25 VND, gold and foreign currency markets had many fluctuations in this morning's trading session (August 22).

This morning (August 22), the price of SJC gold bars remained unchanged while gold rings increased by 200,000 VND per tael following the increase in world prices, and the central exchange rate also increased sharply by 25 VND.

At 9:30 a.m., the price of SJC gold at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji Company was listed at 123.8-124.8 million VND/tael (buy/sell), while at Phu Quy Company it was announced at 122.8-124.8 million VND/tael, with no fluctuations.

At the same time, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company was from 117.2-120.2 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 200,000 VND; and at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, it was from 117.2-120.7 million VND/tael, also an increase of 200,000 VND/tael.

This morning, the difference in buying/selling prices is still maintained at a high level by businesses, in which SJC gold fluctuates from 1-2 million VND/tael, and ring gold is 3 million VND/tael.

In the world, the precious metal fluctuated around 3,335 USD/ounce, up 21 USD/ounce compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 106.8 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank .

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,298 VND/USD, an increase of 25 VND compared to the previous session.

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced the USD exchange rate from 26,212 -26,562 VND/USD, an increase of 26 VND compared to the previous closing price.

Vietinbank and BIDV both traded from 26,249-26,562 VND/USD (buy/sell), also up 26 VND; Eximbank listed from 26,200-26,536 VND/USD (buy/sell), unchanged compared to the previous session./.
