Many practical activities related to the urgent needs of members and women in 7/7 border communes of Duc Co, Ia Grai and Chu Prong districts have been organized in the past period such as: providing means of livelihood, shelters of love, preferential loans, providing knowledge and skills to prevent trafficking, abuse of women and children, early marriage, incestuous marriage, domestic violence, drugs, crime, etc. From there, it has contributed to taking care of all aspects, improving material and spiritual life, building a progressive and safe life for women and children. With practical significance, the Program has created a positive effect, spreading widely in the community and received the attention and support of local Party committees, authorities, cadres, women's union members and the whole society. Coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command to present 05 "Shelters of Love", 03 toilets, 46 means of livelihood, 10 bicycles, 1,000kg of rice seeds, 1,000 flags, 60 water tanks, 713 gifts, ... with a total value of 1.5 billion VND. Coordinated with the Provincial Border Guard Command, with the joint efforts of the Women's Union of 10 districts, towns and cities to present 18 "Shelters of Love", 100 clean water tanks, 4,066 gifts, 478 means of livelihood; examined, treated, and distributed free medicine to 23,381 people, sent 9,266 text messages to support the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" ..., with a total value of over 3 billion VND. As of August 15, 2023, the total mobilized resources to support disadvantaged border communes reached over 4.5 billion VND, thereby helping 312 poor and near-poor member households, of which 65 households escaped poverty and near-poverty according to multidimensional criteria.

At the conference to review 3 years of the Program, Ms. Ro Cham H'Hong, President of the Gia Lai Provincial Women's Union affirmed that, with practical support to the right people and the right address, the Program has created conditions for female members and people in border areas to have more motivation to rise up and escape poverty, stabilize their lives, and contribute to building a strong border area. Also on the occasion of the 3-year review of the Program, the Gia Lai Provincial Women's Union and the Ho Chi Minh City delegation visited and presented 04 "Shelters of Love", 20 means of livelihood, 60 water tanks, 300 gifts to female members, 100 scholarships for poor students with good academic performance, adopted children of border guards, children of policy families, children of soldiers, 02 sets of computers, ... with a total value of over 800 million VND to 2 communes of Ia Mo (Chu Prong district) and Ia Chia (Ia Grai district). Gia Lai Provincial Women's Union also awarded a plaque of recognition for their golden hearts to units supporting and accompanying the implementation of the Program "Accompanying women in the border areas" for the period 2021-2025.
