Accordingly, the Working Group is headed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the general economic sector is the Standing Deputy Head; the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, the Director (Deputy Director in charge) of the Department of Planning and Investment are the Deputy Heads of the Working Group; the Directors (Deputy Directors in charge) of departments, branches and sectors of the province are members of the Working Group.

The task of the Working Group is to review and summarize difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities, and the process of implementing investment projects in the province; propose solutions to difficulties under the functions of competent authorities; urge and supervise the process of resolving difficulties and obstacles under the authority of departments, branches, and district-level People's Committees; support and resolve difficulties for foreign-invested enterprises that are exploring investment opportunities and expanding investment in Gia Lai province.

Monthly or when necessary, the Working Group reports to the Provincial People's Committee on results, progress, and handling directions in order to promptly resolve and remove difficulties and obstacles and recommend rewards and discipline for relevant organizations and individuals.
