At the North-South Expressway project site, nearly 110 officers, engineers, workers and 70 pieces of equipment and machinery of Tu Lap Construction Company Limited are divided into many construction teams, diligently constructing the items.

Tu Lap Construction Company Limited undertakes the construction of nearly 4km of construction package No. 11-XL, 30km long, of the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section of the North - South Eastern Expressway project, phase 2021 - 2025, through Ha Tinh.
Along the nearly 4km length, in addition to the main highway route, there are 3 bridges (Thach Dien 1, Thach Dien 2, Ky Cac) and 6 underpasses for people, which are important items that the contractor is focusing on constructing.
Immediately after the project groundbreaking ceremony (January 1, 2023), the contractor focused on human resources, mobilized machinery, vehicles, and technical equipment to construct service roads, build camps, and an operation house to serve the construction of the project. However, at that time, due to some difficulties in terms of site and construction material sources, the construction process was not really favorable.

Thanks to the efforts of the Party Committee and the Ha Tinh government and the consensus of the people, difficulties and obstacles have been gradually resolved, creating favorable conditions for the construction contractor. The construction volume achieved by Tu Lap Construction Company Limited is quite effective with the basic completion of the service road system, the scraping and treatment of weak soil on the main route, the completion of the rough construction of 2 abutments, the pillars of Thach Dien 1 bridge and 2 residential underpasses...
The contractor is trying to speed up the progress before Ha Tinh enters the rainy season.
According to information from the Project Management Board of Tu Lap Construction Company Limited, it is forecasted that Ha Tinh will have heavy rain in the coming days and especially the flood season is about to begin, affecting the construction process, so in the past time, the unit continued to focus on human resources and machinery to construct items related to weak soil treatment for the main highway route, building abutments and piers of Thach Dien 2 bridge, completing the rough part of the 3rd residential underpass and completing the drainage system.
With the volume of construction items that Tu Lap Construction Company has completed, heavy rain in Ha Tinh is not too worrisome.
Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway section.
Meanwhile, the 11-XL package, Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section with a length of 35.28km, constructed by the joint venture of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation (Vinaconex) - Corporation 319 (Ministry of National Defense), is also speeding up the implementation of items.
Mr. Tran Dinh Ngan - Commander of Construction Site No. 3 of Corporation 319 (Ministry of National Defense) said: The biggest difficulty in the past time was the source of construction materials, but it has been resolved. As for the fill soil, the unit has exploited Luu Vinh Son mine and Luu Vinh Son 3 mine in Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district, so the construction teams are trying to work overtime to "compensate" for the progress that is somewhat behind schedule.
Building bridges is one of the projects that contractors are prioritizing.
According to Mr. Ngan, construction team No. 3 is in charge of the 12.9km length of the package, including 11 bridges and underpasses for people. The work items that this contractor is focusing on are handling weak ground, building overpasses, underpasses, and drainage systems, ensuring progress when the rainy season is approaching. The construction volume to date has reached 15%.
At Long Tuong hill in Quang Loc commune, Can Loc district, dozens of engineers, workers and machines of the contractor Vinaconex are also working hard to dig soil and rocks. Excavators, bulldozers and trucks are busily carrying soil up and down, creating an urgent working atmosphere at the construction site.
Vinaconex contractor machinery is constructing Long Tuong hill area in Quang Loc commune, Can Loc district.
At the construction site of the overpass and underpass, contractor Vinaconex focused on completing each item. The contractor required the construction teams to stick close to the construction site to "run" the volume before the rainy season arrives.
Mr. Ho Ngoc Loan - Deputy Director of Thang Long Project Management Board (Ministry of Transport) - investor of the two expressway sections Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang, said: Currently, contractors are all focusing on speeding up the progress. The most encouraging thing is that Ha Tinh province has cleared up the problem of construction material mines and since the end of August, some mines have been exploited. This is a prerequisite for contractors to speed up the progress.
Underpass in Quang Loc commune, Can Loc district is built.
With the 55.34km long Vung Ang – Bung expressway component project, of which the 12.9km long section passing through Ha Tinh province, belonging to the XL-01 construction package, the joint venture of Son Hai Group Co., Ltd. – Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation – Joint Stock Company 484 – Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company 368 and Joint Stock Company 479 Hoa Binh is speeding up the construction progress with 45 construction teams and hundreds of human resources, equipment and machinery.
The Vung Ang - Bung expressway section through Ha Tinh is ensuring progress.
Son Hai Group representative informed that taking advantage of the sunny weather, the unit focused on human resources to construct the Deo But road tunnel, the tunnel connecting road, the bridge system, culverts, drainage ditches and the main highway route.
To speed up progress and ensure construction plans, especially before the rainy season, investors of the three North-South expressway component projects through Ha Tinh requested contractors to arrange more construction teams, take advantage of favorable conditions to work overtime, and increase production to compensate for the upcoming rainy days.
