Nearly 300 officials, civil servants and public employees apply for early retirement

On February 13, information from the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee said that the province had a member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, who retired 1 year and 6 months ahead of schedule; the Secretary of the Phuc Yen City Party Committee voluntarily retired 1 year and 2 months ahead of schedule.

In addition to the above two cases, there are also two Provincial Party Committee members and many leaders of departments, branches, and sectors; heads and deputy heads of specialized departments, divisions, and affiliated units who also wish to retire early.

A representative of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee said: "These cases have expressed their wish to retire early to facilitate the process of reorganizing the apparatus, creating conditions for the next generation to continue the work, ensuring the smooth operation of the apparatus."

Previously, on February 3, Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on restructuring the apparatus of organizations and agencies of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party bloc.

Decision to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Decision to end the activities of 7 Party delegations, 3 Party Executive Committees; Decision to end the activities of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and the Party Committee of Provincial Enterprises.

The decision to establish the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies and the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee ensures compliance with the Central's orientation.

The People's Council of Vinh Phuc province has been appraising the contents of the organizational arrangement of specialized agencies and equivalent agencies under the Provincial People's Committee for approval at the regular meeting in February 2025 (scheduled to be held on February 19).

Up to now, through preliminary synthesis, nearly 300 cadres, civil servants and public employees of Vinh Phuc province have voluntarily resigned from work, enjoying early retirement and resignation policies and regimes according to Decree No. 177 and 178.

In the coming time, Vinh Phuc will continue to streamline its staff, restructure its staff, civil servants, public employees and workers to eliminate unnecessary positions, duplicate functions and tasks, reduce ineffective work, and focus resources on key areas.
