Dong Nai organizes special commemorative activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2

The plan aims to effectively implement Plan No. 371-KH/TU dated August 7, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Plan No. 391/KH-UBND dated December 17, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate major holidays in 2025 and welcome Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. Thereby, affirming the stature, historical significance and brilliant milestones of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).

Organizing commemorative activities aims to propagate, educate and review the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary tradition, spirit of great solidarity, pride and will of self-reliance and self-improvement of the nation; raise awareness among all classes of people, cadres and soldiers about the great historical significance of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; contribute to consolidating and fostering people's trust in the cause of national construction and defense, innovation and international integration.

With the theme “Immortal August Revolution Spirit and National Day September 2”, the main commemorative activities in the province include: Propaganda activities throughout the beginning of August to the end of September 2025. Propaganda and commemorative activities take place at all levels, sectors, and organizations from the province to the grassroots; focusing on activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of the people, revolutionary bases, remote areas, and borders of the province.

Conduct a live television broadcast of the Special Art Program and fireworks display at three locations (Provincial Square Park, Suoi Cam Lake and Dai Phuoc Commune) at 7:00 p.m. on September 2, 2025.

Organizing a ceremony to visit the Martyrs' Cemetery of Dong Nai Province (Long Binh Ward) on August 29, 2025 and a ceremony to visit the Martyrs' Cemetery of Dong Nai Province combined with a ceremony to visit, commemorate and bury the remains of martyrs in Dong Tam Commune on August 27, 2025.

Organize groundbreaking, inauguration and ground-breaking ceremonies for projects in Dong Nai; Receive and broadcast documentaries; create reports, news and articles; organize cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities to celebrate the anniversary from now until the end of September 2025; Organize Dong Nai Province Food Festival in 2025.

In particular, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to advise the Provincial People's Committee to participate in the Exhibition of socio-economic achievements of the locality on the occasion of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 at the National Fair and Exhibition Center (Hanoi City) according to the Plan of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day. At the same time, advise on the contents of culinary participation at the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.
