On the morning of September 12, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the situation and directly directed the response to floods after storm No. 3 in Ninh Binh city and Yen Khanh district. Accompanying him was Comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The provincial flood prevention and control inspection team inspected the Cha La bridge construction project (Ninh Binh city), inspected the Day right dike and irrigation works on the dike, inspected the operation at the Nam Thanh pumping station (Bich Dao ward); inspected and grasped information on the response and on-duty pumping work to prevent flooding at Cong Kem pump (Khanh Phu Industrial Park) and Dong En pumping station (Khanh Loi commune), and inspected the strict implementation of the ban on boats at Doc Bo ferry (Khanh Tien commune).

At the inspection points, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation highly appreciated the proactiveness of units and localities in implementing flood response work after storm No. 3. He emphasized that the water level of the Day River dike is currently rising above alert level 3, exceeding the historical flood peak of 2017, so sectors and localities need to coordinate closely, update full information on flood developments, implement appropriate response measures; organize the operation of irrigation works in accordance with regulations and close to reality.

For specific tasks, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the City Urban Management Department to strengthen coordination with construction units to urgently clear the flow on the Van River, ensuring drainage requirements and preventing flooding. Do not let obstacles during the construction of the project complex on the Van River cause congestion and flooding in the city.

Regarding the drainage of water for Khanh Phu Industrial Park, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the industry and localities to be proactive and ready with the "4 on-site" plan, absolutely not being subjective, allowing passive and unexpected situations to occur. Quickly and urgently handle key points to ensure the safety of people and property of people and businesses.
