Pu Nhi Border Guard Station arrests subject for illegal possession of drugs

At 6:00 p.m. on May 25, Pu Nhi Border Guard Station (Muong Lat) received information from Quang Chieu Border Guard Station about a male subject on his way from Keo Huon village, Nhi Son commune, illegally crossing the border to Kham Nang village (Laos) with many suspicious signs.

Upon receiving the report, the drug and crime prevention force of Pu Nhi Border Guard Station coordinated with Quang Chieu Border Guard Station to patrol and ambush to arrest the subject.

At 7:20 p.m. the same day, at Km72, National Highway 15C in Keo Huon village, Nhi Son commune, the joint force discovered and caught red-handed Nguyen Duc Tien, born in 1977, in Thanh Mai commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province, illegally storing drugs. The seized evidence was about 6 grams of heroin.

Currently, Pu Nhi Border Guard Station is completing the case file to handle the case according to the provisions of law.
