On August 10, in Hue city, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam Association for Information Technology jointly organized the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 31st National Youth Informatics Competition in 2025.
The event had the participation of 193 excellent candidates from 24 provinces and cities across the country competing in the National Final Round.
The contest is divided into groups A, B, C (C1, C2), D (D1, D2, D3 - creative product award).
In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for group A (Primary school level) including 1 First prize, 6 Second prizes, 9 Third prizes; group B (Middle school level) including 1 First prize, 5 Second prizes, 9 Third prizes; group C1 (Specialized High School) including 1 First prize, 3 Second prizes, 4 Third prizes; group C2 (High school) including: 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes; 5 Third prizes; group D1 (Primary school level) including 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 5 Third prizes; group D2 (Middle school) including: 3 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes; group D3 (High school) including 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded collective prizes to the delegations. In which, the Hanoi delegation won the first prize, the Ninh Binh delegation won the second prize, and the An Giang delegation won the third prize.
Each First Prize winner receives the Creative Youth Badge, a noble badge awarded by the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training , along with a cash prize.
In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded Second Prize, Third Prize and Encouragement Prize, each prize received a Certificate of Merit, Certificate and corresponding reward according to the rules.
The collective award includes First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize for the whole group, each award receives a Certificate of Merit and corresponding reward.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet highly appreciated the innovative efforts of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 National Competition in content and organization methods.

The contest ensures to update the technological developments in the world; suitable and attractive to young people. In particular, this year's contest has increased 30% of contestants participating in the Regional Round compared to 2024.
“Young people do not just stop at programming but also explore and master new technologies such as AI, blockchain, big data, etc. to pioneer in the country's strategic fields, while taking advantage of the knowledge and skills learned from the Competition to develop technology projects, contributing to building Vietnam's innovative startup ecosystem,” encouraged President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet.
The National Youth Informatics Competition has been held annually since 1995. After 31 years of organization, the Competition is now one of the important activities promoting STEM education, helping students approach logical thinking, creativity and problem solving through technology./.
