Towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on April 18, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province, led by Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, offered flowers and incense at the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site (Nghe An province); Dong Loc National Special Historical Relic Site (Ha Tinh province) and visited the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Vung Chua (Quang Binh province). Accompanying the delegation were Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of departments, branches and units of the province.

The delegation of Quang Ninh province offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province. In a solemn atmosphere, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and comrades in the delegation expressed their respect and deep gratitude to the merits and sacrifices for the people and the country of President Ho Chi Minh - who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation and class liberation; a shining example of revolutionary heroism, of solidarity in fighting, of revolutionary morality.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegates pledged to continue studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; continue to strive to excellently complete all tasks, contributing to building Quang Ninh into a rich and beautiful province as Uncle Ho once instructed.

At the special national relic site of Dong Loc T-junction, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province, the delegation of Quang Ninh province offered incense and laid wreaths at the Memorial House of the National Youth Volunteers and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives at Dong Loc T-junction - where over 4,000 youth volunteers from all over the country are listed, including 2 youth volunteers from Quang Ninh; offered incense and flowers at the Memorial and Tomb of 10 heroic female martyrs of Dong Loc T-junction youth volunteers - those who devoted their entire youth to maintaining the traffic artery connecting the great rear area in the North with the great front line in the South.

Before the heroic martyrs, the Provincial Party Secretary and comrades in the Youth Union expressed their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who devoted their youth and sacrificed for national independence, freedom of the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people. The heroic martyrs are forever exemplary examples of patriotism, indomitable will, dedication and sacrifice for the ideals of national independence and socialism of the Party and the nation. The Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh province vow to promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", striving to continue building the homeland to become more and more prosperous and developed, worthy of the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.

On the same day, the delegation of Quang Ninh province also came to offer incense and visit the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap at Vung Chua - Yen Island, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province. The Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a minute of silence to express their respect, remembrance and deep gratitude for the great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people of General Vo Nguyen Giap - an excellent and close student of President Ho Chi Minh.

Before the General's spirit, the provincial delegation pledged to study and follow the General's example for the rest of their lives, to be ready to sacrifice and contribute their talents and intelligence to the Party's revolutionary cause; to constantly innovate and promote a sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties, and to build Quang Ninh province into a prosperous, civilized, modern, and happy one.
