On behalf of the working delegation, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province informed about some socio-economic situations of the province with many achieved results, especially attracting FDI investment among the largest attracting provinces in the country.
New rural construction continues to create a widespread movement in localities and residential areas throughout the province. Education quality continues to hold the top position in the country.

Social security work continues to be taken care of, especially the policy of supporting the poor and people in difficult circumstances to build and repair houses. In more than 10 months of launching, 148 organizations and individuals have registered to mobilize and support the Program with a total number of houses registered for support of 12,196, equivalent to 618,449 billion VND. Up to this point, 5,322 houses have been supported, built and repaired for the poor and people in difficult housing circumstances.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province affirmed that the province's achievements in 2023 had the support, consensus, and important contributions of bishops, priests, monks, and Catholics of the province, including priests and seminarians of the Major Seminary.


At the same time, he hoped that the priests and seminarians of the Major Seminary, with their sense of responsibility and prestige, would continue to accompany the nation, build a life of "good life, good religion", "respect God and love country"; always stick together and join hands with all levels, sectors and people to build the homeland and country to develop more and more sustainably.


Next, the provincial delegation also visited and wished a Merry Christmas to the priests, the Pastoral Council and parishioners in Xa Doai district; the nuns at the Vinh Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation and the Mother Teresa Calcutta Orphanage and Disabled Children Center.
