The provincial delegation celebrated Christmas at a number of religious organizations in Vinh Diocese.

Also participating in the provincial delegation were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; the Provincial Military Command; the Provincial Border Guard Command; the Provincial Police and a number of provincial departments and branches.

The provincial delegation came to celebrate Christmas, wishing the General Representatives, directors, vice directors, priests, and seminarians at St. Francis Xavier Major Seminary good health, peace, and to receive many graces from God.

On behalf of the working delegation, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province informed about some socio-economic situations of the province with many achieved results, especially attracting FDI investment among the largest attracting provinces in the country.

New rural construction continues to create a widespread movement in localities and residential areas throughout the province. Education quality continues to hold the top position in the country.

Social security work continues to be taken care of, especially the policy of supporting the poor and people in difficult circumstances to build and repair houses. In more than 10 months of launching, 148 organizations and individuals have registered to mobilize and support the Program with a total number of houses registered for support of 12,196, equivalent to 618,449 billion VND. Up to this point, 5,322 houses have been supported, built and repaired for the poor and people in difficult housing circumstances.

The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province affirmed that the province's achievements in 2023 had the support, consensus, and important contributions of bishops, priests, monks, and Catholics of the province, including priests and seminarians of the Major Seminary.
