On the morning of September 25, a group of workers and a crane knocked down the wall, removed the corrugated iron roof, and the rolling door of the 30-square-meter house at 845 Au Co, located at the intersection of Au Co, Luy Ban Bich, and Ba Van streets. The house is located on an arrow-shaped plot of land that has been there for nearly 10 years, causing loss of aesthetics, affecting visibility, and causing frequent traffic jams in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Binh, Vice Chairman of Tan Phu District People's Committee, said that the house is expected to be cleared today, after which the unit will build sidewalks and grass beds to not obstruct the view and ensure traffic safety. Before that, the owner was compensated by the government and supported with procedures to build a house in a new location.

The house mentioned above is part of the Au Co - Luy Ban Bich road expansion project completed in 2014. The owner was given a 98 m2 plot of land on Le Trong Tan street, Son Ky ward (Tan Phu district) and received an additional 2.7 billion VND, but due to legal problems with licensing, it has not been moved for many years.
