The initiative "Manufacturing a pneumatic water meter disassembly and assembly system" by Mr. Nguyen Van Bang helps reduce labor, shorten working time and save costs.

Comrade Le Van Quy, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Water Supply Joint Stock Company's Trade Union, said: Caring for the material and spiritual life of staff and employees has always been focused on by the trade union executive board and the board of directors, and is considered one of the key tasks in the business development strategy of the enterprise. The grassroots trade union has actively promoted its role in participating in enterprise management; building and adjusting labor norms; advising on administrative procedure reform; proposing salary and bonus regimes; participating in improving working conditions for employees, contributing to ensuring stability, harmony and progress in the enterprise. The trade union advises the board of directors of the company to specify the improvement of employees' lives through policies, measures and goals, plans, and regulations of professional and mass organizations. Accordingly, the implementation of policies and regimes for employees is guaranteed, such as: salary, bonus, meal allowance, fuel allowance, social insurance, health insurance, full and timely... In addition, the union also organizes visits to sick and unfortunate employees or employees with families in difficult circumstances, gives gifts to employees on holidays and Tet; organizes cultural and artistic activities, sightseeing, vacations... The above activities have motivated employees to be excited, feel secure in production, and stay with the company for a long time.

To encourage union members and employees to enthusiastically participate in completing production and business tasks, the Thanh Hoa Water Supply Joint Stock Company's union has coordinated with professionals to promote emulation movements: "Good workers, creative workers"; promote technical innovation initiatives; "Strengthen the work of preventing water loss and waste and saving costs of raw materials and fuel in the production and supply of clean water"; "Good at water work, good at housework"... The company encourages employees to have innovative initiatives in production activities by giving large or small rewards depending on work performance. The emulation movements have been actively responded to by a large number of cadres, union members and employees, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere of enthusiasm for work, dedication to work; promoting the collective strength and creativity of each cadre and union member.

A typical example is Mr. Le Nhat Cong, Head of the Repair Team, Thanh Hoa City Water Production Branch with nearly 20 topics and initiatives to improve technical performance, increase production efficiency, and benefit the company billions of VND/year such as: "Converting technology from using Basitup to mechanical seals to seal the pump", "Inserting copper in ball bearings by pressure-reducing welding method", "Supplementing power for the level 2 pumping station, Mat Son Water Plant, pumping water to serve customers during peak hours"... Mr. Cong won the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter, second prize in Thanh Hoa Technical Innovation Contest; 3 times awarded the Certificate of Creative Labor by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , awarded the Nguyen Duc Canh Award... Or Mr. Nguyen Van Bang, Head of the Water Meter Maintenance and Assembly Team, Water Meter Branch with initiatives: "Manufacture of a pneumatic water meter disassembly and assembly system" that benefits more than 550 million VND/year; “Design and manufacture of equipment system to remove water meter dial cluster”, saving nearly 600 million VND/year; “Design and manufacture of internal inspection system for large DN80 - DN250 water meters”, saving more than 300 million VND/year... The emulation movements have achieved remarkable results, contributing significantly to improving productivity and product quality, increasing income and improving working conditions for union members and employees. Currently, 100% of union members in the enterprise have stable jobs, secure lives with an average income of 12.1 million VND/person/month.

In the coming time, the Thanh Hoa Water Supply Joint Stock Company's trade union will continue to care for the material and spiritual life of employees through many practical activities, encouraging employees to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, especially the movement "Good workers, creative workers", promoting talents and intelligence, thereby contributing to building and developing the enterprise more and more sustainably.
