The Military Admissions Board notes that the above minimum score for receiving application documents is based on a 30-point scale of the admission combinations from the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and includes incentive points and priority points.

In case candidates have the capacity assessment test scores of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University, they will be converted to a 30-point scale for admission consideration.

The competency assessment test is converted according to the admission combinations of each school, not including incentive points and priority points; the result of the highest converted combination is included in the admission consideration.

The score for receiving application for admission according to the combination D01, D02, D04 of the Military Science Academy is the score without multiplying the coefficient for foreign language subject.

Note, academies and schools enroll students in the Northern region and the Southern region according to administrative boundaries before the merger.

The Border Guard Academy and Army Officer School 2 recruit candidates from the South according to the quota of each military region including: Military Region 4 (candidates with permanent residence in Quang Tri province, Hue city according to administrative boundaries before the merger), Military Region 5, Military Region 7 and Military Region 9.
