7 member schools and faculties of Ho Chi Minh City National University have announced the benchmark scores for assessing capacity. To be officially admitted, candidates must graduate from high school and register their first choice on the Ministry of Education and Training's information portal.
The University of Natural Sciences has two majors with a benchmark score of over 1,000, which are Computer Science (advanced program) and Artificial Intelligence, with 1,035 and 1,001 points respectively on a scale of 1,200. These are also the two majors with the highest benchmark scores at Ho Chi Minh City National University. The remaining majors have admission scores ranging from 600 to 950 points.
This year, the University of Natural Sciences will enroll 3,500 students through 6 methods. Of these, 40-60% of the quota is reserved for the admission method based on competency assessment test scores.

The benchmark for assessing the capacity of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities ranges from 610 to 910 points. The 5 majors with the highest benchmark scores using this method include: Multimedia Communications, Psychology, English Language, International Relations, and Journalism. Of which, Multimedia Communications leads with 910 points.
This year, the school enrolls 3,599 students for 34 training majors in two standard and high-quality programs.
"According to statistics, the number of early admission applications is much lower than last year. Therefore, there are still many opportunities for candidates to be admitted based on their high school graduation exam scores," said Mr. Tran Nam, Head of the school's Communications and Corporate Relations Department.

On the same day, the Faculty of Medicine of Ho Chi Minh City National University also announced the admission results of the competency assessment method. The Faculty of Medicine had the highest standard score of 934 points. The lowest was the Faculty of Nursing with 641 points.

This year, the Faculty of Medicine will enroll 475 students through 9 methods. Of these, 45% of the quota is for admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam.
The benchmark score based on the assessment of the International University 's competency test scores ranges from 600 to 870. Logistics and Supply Chain Management has the highest benchmark score of 870. The remaining majors with high benchmark scores include Computer Science, Data Science and Information Technology (850 points); English Language (835), Business Administration (810).

International University recruits about 2,800 students by 6 methods. Of which, 50-70% of the total quota is for the method of considering the results of the high school graduation exam, 10-45% of the quota is for the method of considering the results of the competency assessment exam of two national universities.
The University of Economics and Law is the first member school of Ho Chi Minh City National University to announce the benchmark scores for assessing capacity. The average admission score for majors in the field of Economics is 835, the field of Business is 872 and the field of Law is 815. Candidate Nguyen Le My An, Trinh Hoai Duc High School, Binh Duong), the top scorer of the first round of this exam with 1,091 points, was admitted to the Economics major of the university.

For the University of Information Technology , the Artificial Intelligence major has the highest standard score of 970 points. The lowest is the Computer Engineering major (majoring in Microcircuit Design) with 810 points.
In 2023, the school will enroll students through four methods with 1,800 quotas, similar to last year. The four methods include direct admission and priority admission (25% of the quota); admission based on exam scores (60% of the quota); admission based on international certificates (15%) and admission based on the specific criteria of the joint program with Birmingham City University, UK.

This year, the total enrollment target of member schools and faculties of Ho Chi Minh City National University is about 22,000 students, similar to last year. The enrollment target based on the competency assessment test scores is at least 45%, up from 40% last year. In 2022, member schools of Ho Chi Minh City National University will enroll about 22,000 students, nearly 35.4% of candidates enrolling by considering competency assessment scores.
