VNU starts construction of key infrastructure project to serve digital technology research and training

On August 21 in Hoa Lac, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) started construction of the Multi-purpose Experimental House, a key project in the project to invest in equipment systems serving training and research.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hieu - Permanent Deputy Director of VNU emphasized that this is a strategic step, contributing to creating an advanced learning and research environment, improving the capacity to ensure digital sovereignty , cyber security and supporting sustainable socio-economic development.

Along with the Multi-purpose Laboratory, many infrastructures serving training and research are also being deployed in Hoa Lac, from teaching and experimental facilities to dormitory systems for students.

These steps lay the foundation for the formation of a modern training and research center, aiming to build VNU into a green, smart and creative urban university, in line with the national strategy on science , technology and digital transformation.

The synchronous investment in practice facilities, experiments and academic infrastructure at Hoa Lac is expected to lay the foundation for Vietnam to have a modern research and training center, serving the national strategy on cyber safety and security as well as promoting comprehensive digital transformation.
