Share the startup journey of start-ups

The guests participating in the talk show are all start-ups that have been highly appreciated in previous seasons of the Tuoi Tre Start-up Award. Among them are start-ups that have gone through the "test of fire", overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and continue their journey.

They are: Nguyen Khac Minh Tri - founder of MimosaTek - special prize of Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2020, Nano Morante - co-founder of Plastic People - green start-up prize of Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2023.

Also participating were: Nguyen Tu Tin - founder, CEO of Pho'S, top 20 Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2023; Huynh Hanh Phuc - founder of Green Connect with representative of AirX Carbon Company, a potential candidate of Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024.

The talkshow also has the participation and sharing of special guests who are experts in the Professional Council of Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024: Mr. Pham Phu Ngoc Trai - Chairman of Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance and Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hang - Director of the Youth Startup Support Center (BSSC).

There are also a number of guests who are businessmen, business leaders, and investment funds.

Along with honoring potential startups, Tuoi Tre Start-up Award hopes to inspire and inspire entrepreneurial spirit for generations of young entrepreneurs.

"Green Startup Orientation" will be a place to share about the initial steps of building a brand, the startup journey with its ups and downs and the story of how they overcame the difficulties and challenges of the startup process.

This will be an opportunity for young startups as well as young people who are nurturing their dreams and ambitions to start a business to learn from the real-life stories of startups and experts.

Auction of special items

The talk show will take place at Long Thanh golf course along with the exciting activities of the Tuoi Tre Golf Tournament 2024 with the competition of 150 golfers - businessmen.

Along with the competition and talk show activities, this is the first year to auction many valuable items from contributions from entrepreneurs and businesses to raise funds for the Tuoi Tre Start-up Award.

The auction items include a 100% original antique Hiro Honma Big-LB Driver introduced in Japan in the 1980s and completely handcrafted by skilled Japanese artisans. The club is made of rosewood with a length of 43 inches, the shaft is made of Pendarun Carbon.

The second auction item is a pair of golf clubs donated by Mr. Le Van Kiem - Chairman of KN Group - to Tuoi Tre Start-up Award.

The remaining item is Ngoc Linh K5 ginseng root over 20 years old, grown completely naturally on the top of Ngoc Linh mountain at an altitude of over 2,000m.

Coffee Talk of Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024: How to judge the special prize

Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024 is organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, in collaboration with the Business Startup Support Center (BSSC) and the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam).

With the theme Green Startup Inspiration, This year, the program prioritizes selecting environmentally friendly startup ideas, models, solutions, and products that create practical values for the community, thereby contributing to the rapid promotion of the circular economy, towards the Government's goal of reducing net emissions to zero by 2050.

The judging panel will contact and connect with startups through the special Coffee Talk judging format. Promising startups will be honored at the gala scheduled to be held in November 2024.

In addition to sharing stories in the press, startup projects participating in the program have the opportunity to access many investment funds as well as have their images communicated and promoted to the community.

The top 20 startups selected for the final round will receive financial support from the following organizations: VinaCapital, ACB Bank, Volvo, KN Group, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam, An Hoa, Faslink, Ecco Golf Vietnam, Tin Nghia...

The special prize (100 million VND) from the program's advisory board is Mr. Pham Phu Ngoc Trai - Chairman of PRO Vietnam.
