The project "Phuc Xa Flower Wharf - Ba Dinh" is becoming an attractive check-in location, attracting people of Hanoi capital and tourists to visit and experience.

This place is taken care of and watered daily by the Women's Union of Ba Dinh District, with the core being the staff of the Women's Union of Phuc Xa Ward and the surrounding people. Everyone volunteers with the desire to improve the quality of the environment and develop this place to be cleaner and more beautiful.

To build the flower garden, the people of Phuc Xa ward and the officials of the Women's Union of Ba Dinh district cleared nearly 100 shacks and barns, leveled about 10 hectares, and cut down about 5,000 wild trees.

Phuong Linh (19 years old) traveled 12km from Cau Giay to the chrysanthemum garden in Long Bien. She and her friend made an appointment to meet at the Red River alluvial area at 7am. To get the “poetic” look, Linh spent more than 2 hours on makeup and hair. The girl chose a white dress that stood out in the middle of the poetic yellow chrysanthemum garden.

Phuong Linh revealed that you can use hats, scarves or earrings to create highlights for the photo. However, you should choose simple accessories and not too many, to avoid losing focus on the flowers.

Bich Ngoc (born in 2003) did not hesitate to wake up at 3am, put on makeup, get dressed, and travel 30km from Hung Yen to the flower garden. This female student could not hide her excitement when immersing herself in nature under the chilly autumn weather of Hanoi.

To have the most neat appearance, Bich Ngoc takes advantage of her body shape by choosing a white, slightly backless two-strap dress to create attractive photos. Ngoc said her favorite pose is to turn her back to the lens and tilt her head slightly.

She also took the initiative to schedule makeup, hire a hairdresser and take photos. The total cost for all services was 500,000 VND.

Loving youthfulness and dynamism, Phuong Trinh (born in 2004) chose a cowboy hat, a canvas bag and a denim jacket to add personality. She believes that taking photos with flowers does not necessarily have to be gentle and romantic. Sometimes, being unconventional brings uniqueness .

Khuat Thi Huong (26 years old, Thanh Xuan) shared that the flower garden is not as good as other areas that charge an entrance fee. However, this place has a large space, if you know how to take pictures at the right angle, you can still take beautiful photos.

Phuong Anh (25 years old, Hanoi) revealed: “When I read the information about the beautiful chrysanthemum garden under Long Bien bridge in the newspaper, my best friend and I were very excited. My friend had just returned to her hometown in Nghe An, and when she saw me inviting her to take pictures, she did not hesitate to buy an early train ticket, traveling a few hundred kilometers to Hanoi to check-in on a weekend morning.”

She also said that when taking photos in the flower garden, you cannot ignore the pose of leaning towards the camera. This pose is very basic but brings great effect, suitable for girls with a slightly plump figure.

Many girls go in groups, both to help look after things and to capture beautiful moments with friends. My Linh (right photo) said she learned about this flower garden through TikTok.

“Although it is far away and the road to get here is quite difficult, but to have satisfactory photos to bring back, I think it is completely worth it,” she said.

Not only women, the flower garden also attracts… “poets” to explore. Mr. Ha Son (24 years old, Phu Do, Hanoi) said that he patiently waited for the train to pass Long Bien bridge to get the most satisfactory frame.

As a photography enthusiast, Ha Son said that his personal page also regularly updates photography styles: From outdoor photos, street photos, flower fields, etc. It is known that Son has a Tiktok channel specializing in photography instructions for virtual life enthusiasts.

Without the need for a studio or expensive photography equipment or sophisticated support equipment, Ha Son can still create beautiful photos.

Children were also brought to the flower garden by their parents to experience. Little Tue Nhi (5 years old) and her relatives traveled from Ha Dong to support seeds, contributing to taking care of “Phuc Xa Flower Wharf – Ba Dinh”.

The butterfly chrysanthemum garden not only attracts young people to "live virtual", many foreign visitors also enjoy coming here to take photos.

Mr. Doan Kien Dinh, a member of the flower garden management board, said: “Many people come to take photos from 4am. Visitors come at all times of the day, including noon. The most crowded times are early morning and late afternoon because the sunrise and sunset at the foot of Long Bien Bridge are very beautiful.”

Mr. Dinh added: “We take care of the flowers and only accept donations of seeds and soil, while the entrance fee is optional. Visitors who come to take pictures also need to be responsible for preserving the landscape here.”
