On August 2, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) held a closing ceremony and awarded graduation certificates for the 2023-2024 academic year to more than 400 students.

More than 400 students were awarded diplomas for the 2023-2024 school year.
Among them, there are 52 new masters, 376 new medical doctors, pharmacists, dentists and new bachelors in the fields of medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology, and nursing. The graduation ceremony was attended by 11 new masters of surgery and 49 new nursing bachelors from the first graduating class.

Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Thanh - Principal of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hanoi National University) said that this time, the graduation rate of students reached 100%. There were 135 students with excellent grades (accounting for 36%), 236 students with good grades (accounting for 62.7%) and 5 students with average grades (accounting for 1.3%).

If in 2012, the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, the predecessor of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, enrolled the first course with 100 students (50 general practitioners and 50 pharmacists), then after just over 10 years, the school's training scale has grown continuously with more than 3,000 students and trainees of 6 undergraduate training programs, 13 residency programs, 12 master's programs and 2 specialist doctor programs 1.
Along with the development of training programs, the school pays great attention to developing a team of scientists and lecturers with close cooperation from leading hospitals in the Central and Hanoi. The graduation rate of over 80%, of which 93% are general practitioners, and 100% of postgraduate students graduate with a high rate of good/excellent, is a clear demonstration of the quality of training and the conditions for quality assurance.
