If the vehicle owner does not buy it, they will make things difficult by prolonging the time to return the inspection results.

In addition, the inspectors did not perform the same vehicle inspection content consistently, and there were cases of omitting items and inspection contents during the inspection process. In particular, there was a phenomenon of inspecting vehicles with fake yellow license plates to be "magically" transformed into commercial transport vehicles, and at the same time, granting a next inspection period to some vehicles that was not in accordance with regulations.

Some inspection units arbitrarily violate regulations on re-acceptance testing to reissue certificates of technical safety and environmental protection for modified motor vehicles.

"In particular, there is information reflecting that the inspection unit colluded to conduct inspections for trucks with extended walls and cargo beds. Therefore, there is still a situation of trucks with extended walls and cargo beds participating in traffic," the Department of Registration emphasized.

Therefore, in order to promptly rectify and improve the quality of motor vehicle inspection work, and avoid the recurrence of violations in the field of motor vehicle registration, the Department of Registration requests that registration facilities strictly comply with regulations on technical safety inspection and environmental protection of road motor vehicles.

" Inspection units, inspectors and professional staff must not arbitrarily make requests or instruct vehicle owners to comply with legal regulations ," the Department of Registration emphasized.

Departments of Transport should note, implement and maintain the connection of camera data to monitor motor vehicle inspection activities; promptly detect and strictly handle cases where inspectors and inspection units skip inspection items or conduct inspections for vehicles that violate administrative regulations in the field of road traffic order and safety.
