On October 8, in Cu Jut district, the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee held a conference to review the Party building work in the past 9 months and deploy tasks for the last 3 months of 2024.

The conference was chaired by comrades: Nguyen Duc Nguyen, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Nguyen Tuan Phuc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cu Jut District Party Committee.

According to the report, in the first 9 months of 2024, organizing committees at all levels focused on advising on many important contents and arising and unexpected tasks related to Party building and organization work, especially preparations for Party congresses at all levels.

The sector promptly advised on the issuance of plans and guidelines for organizing congresses; established subcommittees to serve the congresses; selected units to organize model congresses and pilot congresses with direct election of secretaries. The planning, training, rotation, arrangement, and consolidation of Party committees, leadership and management positions to create a framework for the congress personnel work were focused on.

In addition, party committees at all levels lead and direct the grassroots, have policies, solutions and strategies that are close to reality; pay attention to building strong and clean grassroots party organizations, and consolidating weak party organizations.

The whole sector promptly advised on the preliminary and final review of many important contents according to the direction of the Central and the province and concretized, revised, supplemented, and issued documents for leadership, direction, and implementation in the work of Party building. The arrangement, consolidation of the organization, apparatus, and streamlining of staff associated with the construction of job positions continued to be closely directed.

However, the rate of new party members is still low (reaching 52.28%); the quality of party cell activities, party committee activities, and the spirit of self-criticism and criticism in some places is not really high. The work of evaluating and classifying the quality of party organizations, party members, and collectives and individual leaders and managers at all levels is not unified...

In his concluding remarks, comrade Nguyen Duc Nguyen, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, requested that in the last 3 months of 2024, the Provincial Party Organization and Building Department closely follow the work program and advise the Party Committee to successfully implement the assigned tasks.

The focus is on advising on the implementation of preparations for party congresses at all levels; removing difficulties and obstacles at the grassroots level; and doing a good job of planning, mobilizing, rotating, and arranging cadres in accordance with procedures and regulations.

Party committees selected as pilot units for the direct election of secretaries at congresses need to coordinate well in preparation work, closely follow the regulations of the Central and provincial governments to ensure the success of the congresses, and draw lessons for other units.
