At the meeting, the leaders of Thai Nguyen province introduced the potential and strengths of the province; at the same time, they asked the Ambassador to pay attention to connecting organizations, businesses, and potential investors from the United States and internationally to Thai Nguyen to invest in tourism, entertainment, golf courses, residential areas, modern urban areas; especially in education, culture, health care, etc.

In addition, Thai Nguyen also hopes that through the Ambassador, it will connect with leading experts who can work with hospitals in the province in early detection and prevention of cancer; connect so that Thai Nguyen can cooperate with US organizations and businesses and train human resources in the fields of semiconductor and microchip technology...

On behalf of the delegation, US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Marc Evans Knapper thanked the Thai Nguyen provincial leaders for their warm welcome and support; and affirmed that he would study and propose to bring US experts and businesses to Thai Nguyen to cooperate and invest in a number of fields.

It is known that during the visit and work in Thai Nguyen, the US Ambassador to Vietnam visited and worked with Thai Nguyen University, talked with leaders, lecturers and students of Thai Nguyen University.

On this occasion, the US Ambassador to Vietnam also visited a number of tea production and processing enterprises and tea growing areas in the province.

Previously, on October 11, the leaders of Thai Nguyen province also received and worked with Mr. Choi Youngsam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Korea to Vietnam.

These are considered positive moves of Thai Nguyen in promoting foreign affairs and international integration activities, contributing to the development of the province and achieving the goal of becoming one of the modern industrial economic centers of the Northern midland and mountainous region and the Hanoi capital region by 2030 according to the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
