The Tran Temple Festival has been restored and maintained on January 13 every year according to traditional regulations with many traditional rituals imbued with humanity and traditional folk games and performances originating from the Tran Dynasty such as the fish offering contest, the water procession and many other fine customs have been strictly and sustainably maintained.
Before the opening evening, traditional rituals such as the Temple Opening Ceremony, Incense Offering Ceremony at the Tran Kings' Tomb, and Water Procession Ceremony were held on the afternoon of February 22, 2024.
The water procession is considered the most important ritual, recreating the past life of the Tran Dynasty ancestors before becoming kings, associated with fishing on the river. Today, this ritual has become a ritual associated with the belief of praying for water, praying for good crops as well as reporting to the kings of the residents of the Red River Delta after a year of production.

According to the schedule, the Tran Temple Festival in Thai Binh province will take place for 5 days, from February 22, 2024 to February 26, 2024 (ie January 13 to 17).
The Tran Temple Festival in Thai Binh at the special national relic of the Tran Dynasty Kings' Tombs and Temples is an annual spring spiritual and cultural activity held to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of our ancestors in the cause of building and defending the country. This year's opening ceremony featured a 3D-Mapping light show: 'Dong A's heroic spirit - Echoes of a thousand years' worth of history'.
