Da Nang welcomes record number of visitors in 6 nights of fireworks competition

The 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival took place from May 31 to July 12, and Da Nang's tourism industry witnessed a spectacular rebound in the number of visitors and tourism revenue.

It is estimated that accommodation establishments served more than 1.88 million visitors (an increase of 26% compared to the 2024 fireworks season). Of these, nearly 770,000 were international visitors and nearly 1.11 million were domestic visitors.

Notably, during the 6 days of the fireworks festival, the number of guests staying also recorded remarkable growth - reaching about 504,000 (an increase of 39% compared to last year's fireworks season).

On average, each night of Da Nang fireworks welcomes over 200,000 international visitors (up 46%), domestic visitors reach over 300,000 (up 36%).

Total revenue from accommodation, catering and travel services during the festival is estimated at VND5,600 billion - nearly double that of the same period in 2024.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee, in the next 5 years, the fireworks festival will continue to play a role as a driving force to promote the development of Da Nang's cultural and tourism industry.

The Da Nang fireworks event started in 2008, initially rotating every two years. Given the attraction of this tourist event, Da Nang decided to upgrade and socialize it.

For many years, the fireworks festival has taken place every summer, becoming a highlight attracting visitors from all over the world.
