On July 30, at Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh coordinated with relevant agencies and units, Saigon Universe Joint Stock Company and Miss Cosmo organization to hold a press conference, officially announcing the schedule of activities of the Miss Cosmo Contest (Miss Universe) 2024 in Ninh Binh and announcing the representative image of Ninh Binh province's culture and tourism.

At the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province, briefly introduced the potential and strengths of Ninh Binh tourism with a variety of tourist areas, destinations, scenic spots, cultural heritages...

Accordingly, Ninh Binh province is interested in promoting and advertising Ninh Binh tourism to a large number of domestic and international tourists. Ninh Binh tourism has become a bright spot, for many consecutive years maintaining its position in the top 15 destinations and 10 provinces attracting the highest number of visitors nationwide, gradually becoming a national and international tourism center.

Ninh Binh province is striving to realize the policy and goal of building and developing Ninh Binh province by 2035 to become a centrally-governed city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area, a creative city; a large center with high value in tourism, cultural industry, and domestic and international heritage economy.

Ninh Binh province's cooperation with Miss Cosmo 2024 to organize a series of welcoming activities, cultural exchanges, fashion shows and heritage promotion... will contribute to introducing, promoting and spreading the beauty of Ninh Binh culture and tourism.

Also at the press conference, representative of Miss Cosmo organization, Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang, Head of Miss Cosmo Contest Organizing Committee, announced the schedule of activities of Miss Cosmo Contest 2024 in Ninh Binh.

The highlight of Miss Cosmo 2024 is a series of vibrant festivals, full of cultural performances in many provinces and cities in Vietnam with the main theme: "Vivid Vietnam - Vibrant Vietnam" through festivals from North to South. The Festival series will include 3 main activities: Hello Cosmo From Vietnam (Hanoi - Ninh Binh), Best Of Vietnam Festival (Bao Loc - Lam Dong), "Best Of The World Festival 2024" (Ho Chi Minh City).

In Ninh Binh, Miss Cosmo 2024 contestants will arrive and stay from September 15 to 17 to participate in a series of welcoming activities, cultural exchanges, fashion shows and heritage promotion. It is expected that more than 80 beauties from all over the world will have the opportunity to visit and explore the majestic natural beauty of the Trang An - Bai Dinh - Hoa Lu - Khe Coc - Thung Nham scenic areas, all of which are beautiful landscapes that nature has bestowed upon Ninh Binh.

The Fashion Show “Hello Cosmo From Vietnam” will also take place in Ninh Binh. The event will be held in mid-September 2024 on Khe Coc Island, part of the Trang An World Heritage Site. Contestants will perform their costumes amidst the captivating natural scenery with majestic limestone mountains of Ninh Binh, creating a cultural flow in harmony with the majestic natural beauty.

Also part of the activities in Ninh Binh, the Miss Cosmo 2024 National Costume Show will be held at Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area. Each contestant will bring their national costume and perform it on the night. The costumes will have the spirit of festivals, ceremonies or special meetings that clearly show the national culture of that country.

At the press conference, the reigning Miss Universe Vietnam - Bui Thi Xuan Hanh was officially announced as the representative of Ninh Binh Province's Culture and Tourism. With the title of the reigning Miss Universe Vietnam, Xuan Hanh is honored to be the first daughter of Ninh Binh to win the highest prize in a national beauty contest. With this new mission, Miss Xuan Hanh will accompany departments, branches and sectors in the province in promoting the image, tourism potential and unique cultural values ​​of Ninh Binh to domestic and international tourists.

On this occasion, representatives of Thung Nham Ecotourism Area and representatives of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex signed a cooperation agreement with representatives of Miss Cosmo Organization, becoming Silver sponsors of the Miss Cosmo 2024 contest. Thung Nham Ecotourism Area plays the role of host and co-organizer of the National Costume competition; Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex hosts and co-organizes the series of activities and Fashion Show "Hello Cosmo From Vietnam".
