In order to motivate and inspire young people to start a business and get rich in their homeland, in recent years, the movement "Accompanying young people to start a business" has been diversified in content and forms of activities by the Youth Union at all levels in Yen Lap district, creating a widespread influence. From the movement, the creative and bold innovation of young people in labor production has been highly promoted; many economic models and methods bearing the mark of youth have contributed positively to the socio-economic development of Yen Lap forest land.

Unlike other young people of the same age in Phuc Khanh commune, Hoang Van Van in Dinh area has chosen to leave his hometown to develop his economy. Van shared: Born and raised in a difficult land, after graduating from high school, I had a desire to start a business. Being encouraged by the Youth Union to participate in training courses on agricultural science and technology transfer and to visit highly effective economic models in and outside the province, in 2018, taking advantage of the available 14-hectare lake surface area of ​​my family, I started implementing a freshwater fish farming model.

To develop the model effectively, I have to learn more knowledge and experience through books, newspapers and experienced people, and choose healthy fish breeds to replicate. After about 3 years of implementation, the freshwater fish farming model has developed stably. I continue to research and develop new agricultural models. With advice from the commune's Youth Union on accessing preferential loans, I have invested in building barns and buying breeding animals to develop a commercial pig and duck farming model. Currently, on average, I sell about 5,000 commercial ducks, 15 tons of pork and about 7-8 tons of fish each year. After deducting expenses, the model brings me a stable income of more than 200 million VND/year.

Not only the integrated livestock model of Mr. Hoang Van Van, in recent times, in Yen Lap district, many new economic models led by young people have appeared, notably: The construction materials business model of Mr. Pham Ngoc Xuan Son (Yen Lap town) creating regular jobs for 20 union members, youth (YVTN) and workers in the area; Ngoi Xop watermelon growing model of Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh (Xuan Vien commune), sturgeon farming model of Ms. Nguyen Thi Trinh (My Lung commune) creating regular jobs for 5 local workers;....

Mr. Hoang Van Van in Dinh area, Phuc Khanh commune successfully developed a comprehensive livestock farming model with high economic efficiency.

Yen Lap currently has 14,070 young union members, operating in 28 union bases and affiliated unions. Identifying that accompanying young people on the path of starting a business and establishing a career is one of the key tasks of the Youth Union, in recent times, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the district have focused on implementing many support programs and activities in many fields, creating a "fulcrum" for young union members to be steadfast, determined, and confident in starting a business such as: Promoting propaganda and disseminating knowledge about starting a business and establishing a career for young union members; organizing consulting, training, and supporting information, knowledge, and startup skills for young union members. Visiting and learning from experiences in replicating youth economic development models with high and stable income sources in the area; encouraging young union members to participate in creative startup idea competitions organized by the Youth Union chapters at all levels; training on science and technology transfer and digital transformation for young union members in agricultural production; Support young people to access preferential loans; search and connect businesses and sponsors to support youth start-up models...

In the past year, Yen Lap District Youth Union has coordinated with specialized units to organize 2 training courses on science and technology transfer attracting 150 young union members to participate; orienting and introducing jobs for more than 1,000 young union members; supporting 2 innovative start-up projects for young people. Currently, Yen Lap District Youth Union is managing entrusted loans from the district's Social Policy Bank for nearly 3,000 households through 72 savings groups with outstanding loans of over 166 billion VND.
