The National Assembly conducts a vote of confidence on the person holding the position elected by the National Assembly.

Opening the meeting with voters, delegate Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters of the expected program of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly (taking place from October 23 to November 29, 2023).

Specifically, at this session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 9 draft laws and 2 draft resolutions, especially the Land Law (amended) which is of interest to all classes of people. The National Assembly will also give opinions on 8 draft laws; consider and decide on socio-economic, financial and budgetary issues, and other important issues.

The National Assembly conducted questioning and answered questions from National Assembly deputies about the responsibilities of Government members and heads of sectors in implementing a number of National Assembly resolutions.

At the 6th Session, the National Assembly conducted a vote of confidence for the person holding the position elected or approved by the National Assembly.

There are 15 voters reflecting their thoughts and aspirations.

Next, a large number of voters frankly expressed their thoughts, aspirations, recommendations, and proposals on many issues related to the authority of the National Assembly, the Government, central ministries and branches, and local levels.

Voter Phung Minh Sy (Nghi Thu ward) expressed his joy and excitement through following the mass media, clearly seeing the responsibility of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province in conveying the thoughts and aspirations of Nghe An voters to the National Assembly forum; at the same time, recommending that National Assembly deputies continue to innovate their activities, especially in contacting voters, they need to have solutions to get closer to the people, avoiding only contacting "representative" voters.

Voter Phung Minh Sy and voters: Nguyen Van Thanh (Nghi Hoa ward), Che Dinh Tan (Nghi Thu ward), raised concerns and requested the National Assembly, the Government, ministries and central branches to have solutions to improve the effectiveness of state management of textbooks; extra teaching and learning; revenue and expenditure in schools.

On the other hand, there is currently a lot of offensive content on the internet that affects public morals and customs, and fraudulent activities that are not well managed.

There is also limited planning management, leading to illegal construction happening in many localities, especially causing serious consequences such as the recent mini apartment fire in Hanoi.

Voter Ngo Minh That (Nghi Tan ward) was interested in raising issues related to the vision and determination of Nghe An province as well as the contribution of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province in implementing Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on developing Nghe An province and realizing the wish of President Ho Chi Minh, making Nghe An a fairly developed province.

At the conference, 15 voters reflected and proposed more than 30 contents. Representatives of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Department of Home Affairs; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs received and explained a number of issues within their functions, tasks and authority.

Responsibilities of National Assembly deputies in implementing Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo

At the end of the conference, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province thanked the voters for their frank and responsible opinions and promised that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation would fully synthesize the voters' opinions and send them to all levels and sectors for resolution.

National Assembly Delegate Vo Thi Minh Sinh expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the concerns of voters about the role, responsibility, and contribution of elected National Assembly deputies in Nghe An province, and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and how they will contribute to the implementation of Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo on the development of Nghe An province; at the same time, she promised to try her best and be responsible in finding good solutions and suggestions to meet the requirements, wishes, and aspirations of voters, contributing to promoting the overall development of the province.
