Tan De Company: Organizing a trip with children to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum

On the morning of August 5, at Ba Dinh Square, more than 1,200 7th and 8th graders, children of officials and workers of Tan De Company (Hung Yen), solemnly lined up to visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. This was the opening activity for the program "Tan De - Journey with children to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum" - a meaningful educational activity in the summer program series in 2025 organized by the Company with a total of more than 2,500 children participating on August 5 and 7.

The delegation visited Uncle Ho's fish pond in the Presidential Palace grounds.

The delegation visited and took souvenir photos at the Presidential Palace flower trellis at the end of Xoai Street - where Uncle Ho often received guests and worked during his lifetime.

On the journey to Hanoi , 8 special radio broadcasts were carefully prepared and broadcast right on the bus. Simple stories about Uncle Ho's life, the history of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the capital Hanoi were conveyed concisely, closely, and easily understood, arousing curiosity, interest and pride in each child. In particular, the moment when the children lined up quietly to pay their respects to Uncle Ho and visited the stilt house, the garden, the fish pond, and the Presidential Palace left many emotions - an experience that brought vivid lessons about history and ethics that no lecture in the classroom could fully convey to the children.

After the ceremony and tour of the Presidential Palace Relic Site, the students returned to Tan De 9 Factory in Luong Bang Commune to visit and continue their journey to explore their homeland. They visited the province's typical cultural sites and learned about the square named after General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh - an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, an outstanding son of Hung Yen. Through each destination, the students had more opportunities to understand the revolutionary tradition of their homeland not only by seeing and hearing but also by feeling and pride.

Not only providing a summer playground, the program also demonstrates Tan De Company’s special concern in accompanying employees in caring for, educating and guiding the personality of future generations. Instead of just creating joy, each bus trip taking children to the Capital is also a lively “mobile classroom” where they receive knowledge, emotions and profound lessons about history, ethics, gratitude and love for the Fatherland.
