In mid-January 2024, we visited the ginseng farm and the food production and processing factory of LKVN Herbal Medicine Joint Stock Company in Hanh Tri 2 village, Quang Son commune. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Director of the company, said that with the attention and favorable conditions of the provincial leaders, departments, branches, and localities, along with the province's open investment attraction mechanisms and policies. Up to now, the company has been established and operated effectively for more than 3 years, ensuring the right strategic orientation, business plan and production linkage of medicinal plants as set out. The most exciting thing is that the company has identified the potential and advantages in the province, which currently has 1,269 medicinal plant species with high medicinal properties. Of which, there are 82 rare, unique, indigenous genetic resources that need to be preserved, developed and take advantage of the abundant water source from the Tan My irrigation system. Therefore, the company has conducted research, field surveys, climate, and soil to focus on investment and cooperate with local farmers to grow medicinal plants such as ginseng.

Up to now, the company has expanded the area of ​​more than 120 hectares of ginseng and some other medicinal plants, invested tens of billions of VND to build factories, applied high technology in agricultural production, installed remote surveillance cameras to monitor the process of growing and caring for medicinal plants according to standards, growing well and without chemical residues. Set up a modern production line, preliminary processing, processing, packaging, and canning with a quantity of 10 million products per year such as: Ginseng tea bags, Wild bitter melon tea bags that have met 3-star OCOP standards. In addition, the company also produces and processes canned ginseng drinks, ginseng extract, ginseng tablets, and ginseng pillows that have the effect of supporting physical strength, anti-oxidation, helping blood circulation, and calming the mind to sleep well, so they are trusted and consumed by customers.

In the coming time, the Company will continue to expand the association of medicinal herb growing areas to 500 hectares associated with job creation and income improvement for people. Build a team with professional capacity, effective business management, enthusiasm for work; ready to transfer technical processes for planting, producing, processing, and consuming products of medicinal herbs and other medicinal plants to associated farmers; continue to research and invest in projects such as: solar energy combined with planting medicinal herbs under the roof; intercropping medicinal herbs under the canopy of primary forests, fruit trees, coconuts, bananas, hybrid poplar trees combined with raising deer and sheep associated with sustainable ecotourism development. At the same time, research and use aeroponic technology under the forest canopy to propagate medicinal herbs in large quantities, contributing to creating clean agricultural products with high nutritional and medicinal content, good for consumers' health. In particular, the company is aiming to become one of the leading brands of national medicinal products, achieving GMP certification according to the standards of the Ministry of Health; building a medicinal value chain that meets international standards to provide domestic and foreign markets with the best quality products and services to match the scale of investment and brand reputation of the company.
