Announcing the Rules of the Online Contest "Learning about new rural knowledge, phase 2021 - 2025"

The contest is organized to raise awareness of Party committees at all levels, authorities, cadres, Party members, and people of all walks of life about the purpose, meaning, and importance of the National Target Program (NTP) on new rural construction in the province; creating opportunities for districts, cities, and towns to exchange knowledge and experience in new rural construction.

Accordingly, the contest is organized in the form of multiple-choice tests on the internet, at the following addresses: Online multiple-choice test system - Provincial Party Committee (http://tuyengiao- tracnghiem.laocai.gov.vn); link on the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department's Electronic Information Portal (http://bantuyengiao.laocai.org.vn); link on the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office's Electronic Information Page (http://nongthonmoilaocai.vn); link on the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development's Electronic Information Portal (https://snnptnt.laocai.gov.vn) and electronic newspapers, magazines, electronic information pages/portals with banners and links of the contest.

Contestants: Lao Cai people living and working in and outside the province; people outside the province, foreigners interested in the contest (based on residential area).

Contest content: focus on learning about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and Lao Cai province's policies on implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction; the set of criteria for new rural construction at all levels in Lao Cai province, period 2022 - 2025; amending a number of criteria and targets of the set of criteria; the goals of striving for new rural construction in Lao Cai province in 2024 and period 2021 - 2025.

Competition duration: First week (from August 5 to 9, 2024); Second week (from August 12 to 16, 2024) and Third week (from August 19 to 23, 2024).

Award structure: The Organizing Committee will award 3 First prizes (2.4 million VND/prize), 6 Second prizes (1.6 million VND/prize), 9 Third prizes (1.2 million VND/prize) and 30 Consolation prizes (0.4 million VND/prize) to individuals; 1 First prize (4.8 million VND); 2 Second prizes (3.2 million VND/prize); 3 Third prizes (2.4 million VND/prize); 3 Consolation prizes (1.6 million VND/prize) and 3 Thematic prizes (0.4 million VND/prize) to groups with outstanding achievements participating in the competition.

In addition to the cash prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates to individuals; Certificates of Merit and Flags to groups that won the competition's prizes.

The online exam results will be announced and updated immediately after the exam results are available on the Portal/Website of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Lao Cai Province's New Rural Area Coordination Office, the contest banner and mass media.
