On the evening of March 28, the People's Committee of Da Nang City organized a contest - a parade of flower cars and flower boats along the Han River. This event is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City.

The contest - parade of flower cars and flower boats aims to promote and praise the outstanding achievements of the army and people of Da Nang City in recent times. This is also an opportunity to promote the image of Da Nang City to the domestic public and international friends.

Accordingly, 12 flower cars made by units, departments, and localities and 20 flower boats made by businesses participated in the competition and parade.

Speaking at the contest, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the flower cars and flower boats represent cultural and historical features and are proud works of art about the development journey of Da Nang City.

"On the roads and the poetic Han River, the models will be like mobile flower baskets, bringing a fresh feeling of a modern, dynamic city. Not only art, the contest also spreads the spirit, love for the homeland, country and the desire for innovation and development" - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City emphasized.

According to plan, on the evening of March 28 and 29, flower floats and boats will parade through the streets, along the Han River for people and tourists to admire.
