In the final match of round 6 of V-League 2023 - 2024, Hai Phong Club has home field advantage and is rated much higher than Khanh Hoa Club, which is facing many fluctuations. The port city team is determined to win all 3 points to enter the top 4 of V-League. Meanwhile, Khanh Hoa Club fans also hope for a change of general, and wait for the performance of new coach Tran Thien Hao (replacing coach Vo Dinh Tan who resigned).

Khanh Hoa FC entered the match with great excitement. When the audience at Lach Tray Stadium had not yet settled down, the coastal team created 2 clear opportunities and scored the opening goal. In the 2nd minute, Van Hiep dribbled the ball on the right wing and then made a cross, Van Tung headed the ball in an open position but unfortunately sent the ball wide. However, Khanh Hoa FC fans did not have to wait long to enjoy the joy. In the second half, Khanh Hoa Club continued to play evenly with the home team. However, Hai Phong Club showed superior class and spirit. In the 59th minute, from a corner kick on the right wing, Pham Hoai Duong headed the ball to raise the score to 2-1. In the 64th minute , from a similar situation, Mpande scored the final goal, sealing a 3-1 victory for the port city team.

With this result, Hai Phong Club rose to 4th place on the V-League rankings with 11 points, while Khanh Hoa Club ranked 12th with 3 points.
