A working delegation of the Steering Committee for coordinating activities between the armed forces and socio-political organizations of Ho Chi Minh City visited and presented hundreds of gifts to officers, soldiers of border posts and students in Dak Nong.
On September 27, in Dak Mil district, Dak Nong province, the working delegation of the Steering Committee for coordinating activities between the armed forces and socio-political organizations of Ho Chi Minh City organized the program "Skillful mass mobilization - connecting the border", commemorating the 94th anniversary of the Party's traditional mass mobilization work (October 15, 1930 - October 15, 2024).

“Skillful mass mobilization - Connecting the border” is a meaningful and practical program that has been organized by the Steering Committee for coordinating activities between the armed forces and socio-political organizations of Ho Chi Minh City for many years in the city and neighboring provinces.
The program aims to raise awareness among cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life about the importance of organizing and implementing the mass movement to participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation.
At the same time, implementing the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking", the work of "repaying gratitude", organizing activities to care for the material and spiritual life of policy families, ethnic minorities, cadres, soldiers, union members, association members and people in difficult circumstances.
Through activities and programs, patriotism and love for the homeland are fostered, and the responsibility of the entire political system in participating in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation is enhanced.
With the above purpose and meaning, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the Steering Committee for coordinating activities between the armed forces and the city's socio-political organizations jointly issued a plan to organize the program "Skilled Mass Mobilization - Connecting Borders", associated with social security activities in Dak Mil district, Dak Nong province.
Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong said that although the gifts were not large, they were the hearts of the people, those working in mass mobilization and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City sent to the people, officers and soldiers of border posts, communes and militia posts in Dak Mil district.
Through that, we hope to contribute to sharing difficulties and hardships, encouraging cadres, soldiers and people to continue to unite, develop the economy, participate in protecting and maintaining security, order and social safety from the border of the Fatherland.
In addition, it is hoped that the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, local armed forces and people of Dak Mil district will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, determination to successfully complete assigned tasks; maintain political security, social order and safety in the locality; have more projects and tasks to care for the people.
At the program, the delegation presented water purifiers, computers, printers, wells, water filters, solar lamps, health insurance cards, agricultural tools, first aid kits, scholarships, bicycles, books and school supplies... with a total cost of more than 1 billion VND.
In addition, the delegation also presented 1,000 national flags under the "Proud of the National Flag" program launched and implemented by the Lao Dong Newspaper.
Dak Mil District Party Secretary Pham Thanh said that the district has a high proportion of ethnic minorities and people's lives are still difficult. The district also has 46km of border, with 4 border posts guarding the border.
"The delegation visited and presented meaningful gifts to encourage the officers and soldiers of the border posts and the students. Hopefully, in the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh City organizations will continue to pay attention to the district, especially students with difficult circumstances, to help them continue their journey to school," Mr. Pham Thanh expressed.
On the same day, the delegation visited and encouraged the morale of officers and soldiers at border posts and border militia posts in Dak Mil district.
