On November 22, in Hoang Mai district, the Hanoi Women's Union (HWU) organized the "Women and men share" forum in response to the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2024.

Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh said that in recent times, the Women's Union at all levels has closely coordinated with departments, branches, sectors, unions, and the Committee for the Advancement of Women to carry out communication and training activities to raise awareness of members, women, and people about gender equality; preventing and combating domestic violence, and preventing and combating abuse of women and children.

At the same time, actively implementing the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's and 3 clean's", the model "5 yes's and 3 clean's", the Men's and Women's Clubs share and support women in health care, job creation, income increase; creative start-ups, economic empowerment, creating conditions for women to confidently participate in social activities...

Along with that, on the occasion of the month of Action for gender equality and prevention and response to gender-based violence, the City Women's Union organized a communication program for the cultural festival of ethnic minority women taking action for gender equality; social security activities; giving shelters to women in difficult circumstances; the forum "Women and men share together"... with the desire to convey messages about gender equality, prevention and response to gender-based violence to all classes of women and people of the Capital.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Women's Union, President of the City Women's Union Le Kim Anh called on all levels, sectors, women and people of the capital to join hands to change to narrow the gender gap, eliminate gender-based violence, towards the goal of building a safe, civilized and happy society for everyone, so that women can stand side by side with men to enter a new era, an era of national advancement...

Within the framework of the program, at the Forum “Women and men share together”, delegates shared methods of propaganda to raise community awareness of gender equality, prevention and control of domestic violence; the role of men in sharing with women to support and create conditions for women and their wives to participate in social work and develop their careers.
