The conference conducted consultations to elect additional and replace members of the 14th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term 2019-2024, including 4 members.

Next, the members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee listened to, discussed and gave their opinions on the draft documents, reports and projects to be submitted to the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu reported on some outstanding results in socio-economic development in the first 6 months of the year and affirmed that these results had great contributions from the Fatherland Front at all levels in the area. He also highly appreciated the careful and methodical preparation for the 15th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term. At the same time, he requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to continue to receive comments from the members attending the meeting to complete the documents and carefully prepare the necessary conditions to successfully organize the Congress. Noting three issues that need to be included in the Document for the Congress to discuss, including "Proactiveness - Creativity and Efficiency" in the movements, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu suggested that members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee need to study specific solutions to more effectively implement the work of social supervision and criticism of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.
