Cannot allocate more funds to expand rural transport

Currently, capital is often allocated at the end of the year, leading to difficulties in implementation for localities due to dependence on weather conditions, natural disasters, etc.

In the Report responding to voters' opinions after the 18th session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee stated that the Project to solidify the National Highway and Rural Transport in the period of 2021 - 2025, which the Provincial People's Council has allocated a capital of 766 billion VND in the medium-term investment plan for 2020 - 2025, only meets 50% of the set target.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Council has issued a resolution to only implement the project according to the allocated capital, the remaining volume will be studied for implementation in the period 2026 - 2030.

Currently, the list of investment projects for the 2021 - 2025 period approved by the Provincial People's Committee for implementation has corresponded to 766 billion VND (the remaining amount is not much, priority is given to localities that need to ensure new rural criteria in 2025), so the voters' proposal to early allocate capital and allocate additional capital to expand the DH and DX routes cannot be implemented in the period from now to 2025.
